Thought of the day.
Question for you.
If Sarah Palin is qualified to deal with foreign policy because Alaska borders Russia, that must mean I ought to start making consultations for people to come and talk to me about their medical issues.
I live next door to a doctor. His property borders mine.
Surely this is enough?
No?

Jane, I’ve read all of your books and LOVE every minute of all of them. I think you’re fantastic and so talented, and now I read your blog. I love getting to see in to your life! And by the way, I couldn’t agree more with you on your thoughts on Sarah Palin!

I’ve seen this Sarah Palin on French television, and they showed a video of her holding a submachine gun… When I saw that I was literally shocked. I mean who would do that in front of the whole world??? And when I heard that she’s against abortion - that took the cake. This woman has no brain, really.
I hope American people will do the right choice and elect Obama. And not this hideous McCain! Of course not that I want to cause offence to anybody.

Then you, actually being from another country, are more qualified than ANY of the candidates - Presidential and Vice Presidential alike.

Ok, Jane, your funny comment is the only bright spot about them putting Palin on their ticket. I keep thinking—really? Are they kidding? Ugh. I need to find out more about my neighbors…
