The New York Palace Hotel are throwing me a book party, open to all!
Years ago I thought having a book party meant you had well and truly made it, and I loved being surrounded by all the people that had worked so hard to make my book a success. Then I started having children, and more children, and life got busier, and book parties fell by the wayside, and I have not celebrated the launch of a new book for quite some time.
The New York Palace Hotel, however, are starting an author series, launching it by throwing a book party for my new book, Another Piece of my Heart. Tomorrow night I will be there to give a reading, meet my readers and sign copies. They've organised delicious complimentary food and drink, and I am so excited to celebrate my first book in two years!
If you're in the New York Area Wednesday 21st March, please come to the party and say hello!
6.30-8.30pm. The New York Palace Hotel, 455 Madison Avenue/50th Street. The Library Room.

Congratulations on your new book, Miss Jane!! You certainly deserve to be celebrated in such a fine manner!
I wish I could have been there.
I did have a giggle because this reminded me of the book launch party/reception scene in the film "Bridget Jones's Diary" - when Bridget was given the 'honor' of introducing her boss..."Mr Fitzherbert" (aka Mr. Fitzpervert)
P.S.
I'm stopping by Barnes and Noble tonight to pick up a copy of your new book...
Great new book--but Jane shouldn't read her own book. Cassandra Campbell is much better at interpreting her books.
I just finished reading 'Dune Road' and while I enjoyed the book, I was disappointed that at the end, when the three friends were talking, you had to have them say g.d. in their last comments. It wasn't necessary and just sort of sullied the end of a good story for me. I don't know why so many writers these days feel the need to have their characters curse. It doesn't add anything to the story. Sure, some people curse-but I don't know of anyone that enjoys hearing it and it can be very off-putting. Just a thought. I wish more authors could rise above adding that in to an otherwise good story.
Hello Jane...
I have only just read your book Straight Talking and I am sure without doubt that you have recieved the comments that I would like to make ......
I will be brief, I am 57years old and have 4 grown up children and 4 grand children, I am now going through a tough period in my life and have been home for a while through illness.....
I just would like to say that your book is like me, I find myself saying out loud as I read "oh hell thats me " and or "god someone is normal here" .... Me.... never have I read a book so close to myself in attitude awareness and reality as I have through your book.......
I have now finished reading Straight Talking, and to be honest feel a little lost, but it has helped me so much to realise that I am not alone we can all be bold over with romance passion sex whatever and be very confident like Tasha but there is a but..... My friends think I am great and so confident and always the bell of the party so to speak and yet I am alone.... I always go for people that are very individual and different, I ride motorbikes love classic cars and ride horses etc, even my grown family say will you grow up mum, but I, like tasha have found it hard.....
Anyway I am waffling on sorry..... just want to say what a brilliant REAL book you have written and all the very best for the future...
Lynne..x
Just read "Another piece of my heart" in 24 hours- what an amazing book- with characters you can really believe and a story that keeps you wanting more as always.
As a step mother and mother I related so well to Andi in the book and it was very interesting to here the other sides of the story... thanks so much for such a heart-tugging read, can't wait for the next one
