As the mother of many, I've realised that certain things happen as you get older, and there isn't much you can do about them. For me, it's the shadows under my eyes. Depending on how many children wake me up during the night, I wake up, a lot of the time, with enormous bags under my eyes. And when I see pictures of myself, I don't think, wow, I look great. I think, OMG, look at those bags...

I have recently discovered a sure fire way of fixing them. I've used Yves Saint Laurent Touche Eclat for years (no. 2), which is my favourite trick for concealing those shadows and bouncing the light off them, but of late I've needed something more, and I've found it...

Before the Touche Eclat, I use Dermablend, just over the shadows. It's the thickest foundation possible, created to cover scars and discolorations, and perfect for those bags (I'd never use it on my whole face - I'd look like I was wearing a Kabuki mask...).When dry, I then apply Touche Eclat. I've also just ordered the Dermablend concealer - we shall see how it turns out.

You'd never know I was permanently exhausted. Trust me.
